Linux and Main: Questionable Linux Business Practice

“My readers may also know I do a lot of Linux business. What
else? And because of that I’m always looking for good software
(Linux-based of course) for my clients and my own use.

“Well, I recently had a Linux distribution recommended to me
because this company had put together a brain-dead simple GUI tool
for configuring it and it was specialized as a router (which I and
several clients could use).

“I went to the site… The company is located in Latvia, but it
is obviously very oriented toward the Western (read US) market.
Unfortunately, too US oriented. They allow you to download their
product for evaluation (which I wanted to do). This is where
everything went south…”
