Linux Top 3: GNOME 3.12 and New Betas for Ubuntu 14.04 and OpenMandriva Lx 2014.0

GNOME 3.12 was officially released on March 26 providing users with improvement across nearly all areas of the desktop.

“This is an exciting release for GNOME, and brings many new features and improvements, including app folders, enhanced system status and high-resolution display support,” GNOME developer Matthias Clasen wrote in the release announcement. “This release also includes new and redesigned applications for video, software, editing, sound recording and internet relay chat.”
