LinuxInsider: Red Hat Growth Makes Analyst ‘Believer’

“Prudential analyst John McPeake initiated coverage of three
software companies Tuesday, including Red Hat, which makes a
Linux-based operating system.

“‘Although there have been many strains of the Linux operating
system deployed since it was first released to the Internet in
1991, one release has come to dominate serious enterprise
deployments: Red Hat,’ McPeake wrote in a note to investors,
mentioning that the company has captured more than 50 percent of
the market…”
