Startup Firm raises over $4 million internationally
“TeamLinux Corporation announced today that it has completed
its first round of private financing raising over $4 million.

This round included over 50 investors worldwide including a
recently announced investment from the Miami Valley Venture Fund, a
Dayton, Ohio based fund that makes early-stage investments.”

“Dan Maher, TeamLinux Chairman and chief executive officer,
said, “We are gratified that so many investors believe in our
management team and business plan. We have assembled a unique
combination of business and technical expertise to enable customers
to benefit from open source operating systems like Linux. These
funds enabled us to recruit a top-notch management team and
technical experts to staff regional offices serving clients
throughout the United States.”

“Rich Abruscato, chief financial officer noted, “We received
investments from all over the world including Asia, South America
and Europe in addition to eleven states in the US. We are
especially grateful to The Stockton Group of San Diego and The
Miami Valley Venture Fund for their significant roles in completing
our first round.”
