is a win-win scenario. Numerous studies drive this point home and
the OSI home page says in the very first paragraph: ‘The promise of
open source is better quality, higher reliability, more
flexibility, lower cost, and an end to predatory vendor lock-in.’
The vendor gets a better product that is cheaper to develop and
support and the user gets a better product that is cheaper to
procure and maintain. Win-win.”
