“I read your SCO Forum keynote speech with much interest. I
agree with a lot of what you have to say, especially about how
important it is to do the right thing, to stand up for the little
guy against the bullies. I’ve been an internal auditor like you,
and I’ve seen how people will bend the truth when necessary and
then cover up. I applaud you for standing up for what you believe
in!“However, I’m not sure what any of this has to do with SCO or
with Microsoft. To me, that was the missing piece in your
passionate speech. I’m sure you recognize that both SCO and
Microsoft are big organizations, too. While I’ve never worked for
either of them, I’m afraid I wouldn’t find it hard to believe that
some of their actions have been at odds with the truth or that
they’ve covered up things that weren’t right. Reading the e-mails
in the Microsoft antitrust trials was an eye-opener to me…”
