“We are basically bridging the gap between personalized Web
portals and text-based wireless devices,” said Eid Eid, president
of OEone Corp, and a former Corel executive who will be involved in
the project. “It’s all about building applications for these
handheld and wireless devices that are Internet centric.”
“Mr. Cowpland plans to work with OEone and Zim Technologies
International Inc. to develop technology he expects to spin-off
into a separate business early next year.”
