Only hours after losing their jobs, some of the 320 people
filing slowly out of the Corel building on Carling Avenue yesterday
didn’t have long to wait before being presented with new
options.

“Two technical recruiters were waiting outside, armed with
business cards and flyers.”

“We were targeting the software developers, programmers and
engineers,” said Tony Zacconi, a recruiter for Thinkpath.com Inc.
“They won’t be on the market very long. If they’ve got the right
skills, it won’t be a week.”
