“COMDEX/Fall ’99 and LINUX Business Expo today introduced a
joint program with MediaMap to provide exhibitors with a list of
editorial opportunities associated with each event. The
COMDEX/Fall and LINUX Business Expo Editorial Calendar will help
exhibitors further promote their company and products by enabling
them to access a list of show-specific scheduled stories from key
publications.
COMDEX/Fall ’99, the world’s largest and most
influential IT event, will celebrate its 20th anniversary in Las
Vegas this November 15-19, 1999. Co-located with COMDEX/Fall ’99
will be the debut of LINUX Business Expo.”

“The ZD Events PR Department continually introduces new programs
that enable our exhibitors to better promote themselves and aid
media in covering our events,” said Sue Lonergan, Vice President of
Public Relations and Corporate Communications at ZD Events. “By
developing this program jointly with MediaMap, the recognized
leader in media information and public relations software, we’ve
enhanced our portfolio of public relations programs by establishing
another method for exhibitors to connect with media.”

“The constantly updated list, available to contracted exhibitors
through a password-protected Web site, contains more than 35
editorial stories relating to COMDEX/Fall ’99 or LINUX Business
Expo that are in development by key publications. Publications
featured on the editorial calendar include Barron’s, Beyond
Computing, Bloomberg.com, CIO, Computer Reseller News,
Computerworld, EE Times, InformationWeek, InternetWeek, Investor’s
Business Daily, The New York Times, Newsbytes, PC Magazine, PC
