“The worldwide impact of Linux was felt in Las Vegas this week
at the record-breaking debut of the LINUX Business Expo. The event,
co-located with COMDEX at the Las Vegas Hilton, included over 68
companies and attracted well over 38,000 business-to-business
buyers.”

In recognition of the show’s vision and impact, Byte.com
awarded LINUX Business Expo “Best of Show,” marking the first time
the media outlet has recognized a tradeshow event with an
award.
According to Byte.com, LINUX Business Expo offered
“excitement you can feel, big crowds, new products, a new business
emphasis.” Byte.com also gave the industry something to think about
by mentioning that participation at this year’s LINUX Business Expo
was larger than participation at the original Windows Pavilion
years ago.”
