Red Hat Blows Out Its Q3: The Data Behind the Numbers

“Red Hat continues to demonstrate its dominance of the
enterprise Linux market. The company reported a blow-out third
quarter, with total revenue of $135.4 million, an increase of 28%
from the year ago quarter and 6% from the prior quarter.
Subscription revenue was $115.7 million, up 30% year-over-year and
6% sequentially.

“The company also boosted its profitability, with net income for
the quarter at $20.3 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, compared
with $18.2 million, or $0.09 per diluted share, for the prior
quarter and $14.6 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, in the year
ago quarter…”
