South China Morning Post: Red Hat joins Donovan Systems in Asia Linux push

“With an eye on expanding its user base in Asia, Linux software
vendor Red Hat has formed a strategic partnership with
Singapore-based server maker Donovan Systems.”

The alliance puts Red Hat Linux on Donovan’s 64-bit server
computers, which are powered by UltraSPARC IIi chip from Sun
Microsystems.

“Donovan will bundle Red Hat Linux software, documents and media
with all servers and provide non-stop technical support.”

“Donovan staff have undertaken training to become Red
Hat-certified engineers.”

“Donovan’s 64-bit platform is ideal for Red Hat Linux,” said
Mark White, Red Hat vice-president and general manager for
Asia-Pacific operations.”
