TechWeb: Corel Says Sales To Tail Off In Second Quarter

“Beleaguered Corel, the maker of WordPerfect and other
productivity software for Windows and Linux, said Thursday that
second-quarter results are likely to come in lower than
forecast.”

“After the announcement, the stock, with a 52-week high of 44
1/2, was trading down, at 3 21/32 Thursday, a loss of 3/8, or 9
percent.”

When Corel posted first quarter results, executives said
they expected those results to be mirrored in the second quarter
ending in May.
