Linux Office Suite 99, a new suite of business applications for
the Linux operating system, is on tap from S.u.S.E.
S.u.S.E. expects the suite to be a hit with users looking for a
low-cost alternative to Microsoft Corp. products.
“Obviously, this thing is primed for Christmas and there’s no
accident we are releasing it this time of year,” McNeil said. “We
are going to be pushing it really hard to our distributors and
working directly with our retail channel.”
Already, resellers and retailers are expressing interest in the
suite.
