Tectonic: Retailer Switches to SUSE for 320 Stores

“US retailer W.S. Badcock announced this week that it is to
install Novell’s Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop on all the sales
terminals across its 320 stores. The company also plans to use SUSE
Linux Enterprise Server 10 to run its point-of-sale store
management system.

“‘Our goal is to have one common platform across the enterprise,
and Suse Linux Enterprise from Novell will completely meet our
needs at a reasonable cost,’ said Badcock’s Veryl White…”
