The Linux Foundation starts Linux Training Scholarship

It’s a good time to be an adept user of Linux, as the recent Dice job reports showed that demand for people with Linux skills is at an all-time high. Because of this, The Linux Foundation is going to start offering a Linux Training Scholarship program to help train future talent and fill this gap in the jobs market.

The scholarship will be offered annually to five promising Computer Science students, as well as Linux developers and architects, who would otherwise not have the means to cover the $2500 (£1600) expense to enroll in a course. The Linux Foundation has also added a new Enterprise oriented course to their catalogue so prospective students can capitalize on their learning experience.
