Green light for Open Source from PM

“The Malaysian Government has been committed to using Open
Source Software since November last year, and the decision came
from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad himself.

“According to Energy, Communications and Multimedia Minister
Datuk Amar Leo Moggie, the Prime Minister said at a ‘closed-door’
meeting then that the Government would implement Open Source
Software (OSS) in its departments and agencies…”

MSC Annual Meet to Discuss OSS

“The Multimedia Super Corridor’s sixth annual International
Advisory Panel (IAP) meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Datuk
