TheDeal.com: Painting Linux blue

“Last month, the Fremont, Calif.-based company, which offers
Linux software and services, told analysts it would focus more on
the large, established corporations than on the Internet startups
that have provided most business to date. This is the same kind of
strategy Web services companies have employed — and it’s for the
same reason. Startups these days are desperate to conserve cash,

move toward doing business with large corporations as do
infrastructure companies. But the problem can be more
pronounced.”

for products and assistance or to giants such as IBM
Corp.”
