Tibco Acquires Jaspersoft for $185 Million

“While Jaspersoft is no longer an independent company, we’re pleased that our business will continue in a very similar way as part of Tibco Software,” Jim Bell, Jaspersoft’s CMO, told Enterprise Apps Today. “The brand name, products, open source strategy, customer relationships and employees are all a part of the value Tibco saw in Jaspersoft, and the plan is to keep these all intact.”
