Cristian Parrino, leader of the team behind the Ubuntu Phone project, as well as of the development team that creates the Ubuntu Touch operating system, announced his resignation. The development of the Ubuntu Touch operating system that powers all Ubuntu Phones won’t be affected in any way by the leaving of Cristian Parrino. Most probaly, a new leader will step in and drive Canonical’s Ubuntu Phone project to greater heights.
