According to the article linked below, Peruvian President
Alexander Toledo has been authorized by the Peruvian Congress to
travel to Seattle to meet with Microsoft’s Chairman Bill Gates.

approved the resolution that authorizes the trip of the President
of the Republic, Alexander Toledo, to the city of Seattle in the
United States between the 14 and the 16 of the present month ‘with

science technology.’“According to the official information coming from the Congress,

project, a government spokesman said.“Toledo, who announced a Cabinet overhaul on Friday to try to
revive his flagging government, will travel to Seattle on Sunday
and meet Gates on Monday, the spokesman said. Toledo will fly home
on Tuesday.“Peru’s Plan Huascaran–named for the Andean nation’s highest
