“Two years ago Saturday, a nonprofit corporation called the ‘KDE
League, Inc.,’ was established through a filing with the Delaware
Secretary of State’s Office. It listed as its officers Andreas
Pour, treasurer, and Chris Schlager, president.“Today that corporation no longer exists, Linux and
Main has learned.“‘It was voided March 1, 2002, for nonpayment of the franchise
tax,’ said a spokeswoman for the Secretary of State in Delaware.
‘We did not receive the annual franchise tax report…’“So what happened to the KDE League, an organization that at one
point reportedly had more than $100,000 in its coffers and that was
setting out, or so it said, to make KDE the standard Linux desktop?
And what happened to the money…?”

“The KDE League is, despite an apparent administrative glitch,
alive and well. As to its state, I have been working on the second
part of my interview with Ofb.biz which will focus on that and will
address all the issues I can which are on people’s minds.“As to my responses to the author’s queries, I have not done and
I likely will never conduct an interview with LinuxAndMain. I find
it rather questionable that the author portrays my complete
disinterest in talking to him as corroboration of some imagined
wrong-doing, particularly when it is no secret that I am not
particularly fond of things he has written and it was quite obvious
to me that the interview would be a hostile one. Indeed, it [is]
these types of questionable practices which largely explain why I
do not care to be interviewed by that particular site in the first
