VARBusiness: IBM, SGI Collaborate on DB2 For Linux-Based Systems

“IBM Corp.’s DB2 Universal Database is now
available on Silicon Graphics Inc.’s (SGI) Linux-based 1000 series
servers. Additionally, the duo of vendors announced this
morning that they are collaborating to optimize DB2 for Linux
on IA-32 and IA-64 systems when available.”
