Wired: Sybase Hooks Up With Crusoe

Transmeta’s new Crusoe chip, the two companies announced Tuesday at
LinuxWorld.”

“Sybase’s upcoming release of SQL Anywhere Studio, mobile
database, and synchronization technology will include core support
for the new class of Crusoe-powered Mobile Internet Computers.”

“The Sybase-Transmeta demonstration at LinuxWorld shows an SQL
Anywhere wireless sales force automation application running on a
Crusoe-powered device. The user can collect and input sales
information from the field on an SQL Anywhere database, and
synchronize wirelessly to the corporate system to send changes and
receive new updates.”
