The good thing about 4MLinux is that it is always up to date with the latest GNU/Linux technologies, and development of a new release begins shortly after the previous one ends. For example, 4MLinux 18.0 final was announced on July 1, and now, one week later, development starts for 4MLinux 19.0. As for the new GNU/Linux technologies implemented in 4MLinux 19.0, we can mention the latest GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) 6.1.0 compiler for those who want to compile programs from sources for the 32-bit (i686) hardware architectures, the long-term supported (LTS) Linux 4.4.14 kernel, BusyBox 1.24.2, and GNU C Library (GLibc) 2.23.
