4MLinux 23.0 Distro Enters Development, Will Use GCC 6.2 and Linux Kernel 4.9 LTS

The new stable version, 4MLinux 22.0, just launched last week with LUKS-enabled full disk encryption support, along with numerous other updated components and under-the-hood performance improvements, and it looks like the developer has no time to waste as it started working on the next major release of the project, 4MLinux 23.0. Development of 4MLinux 23.0 begins today, with the Core edition, which is the base of all other GNU/Linux distributions and Live ISOs that Zbigniew Konojacki creates under the 4MLinux umbrella. As you can see, 4MLinux 23.0 Core Beta is powered by Linux kernel 4.9.33 LTS, GNU C Library (Glibc) 2.25, BusyBox 1.26.2, and GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) 6.2.0.
