Based on the 4MLinux 20.0 operating system, which is also in the Beta stages of development, the 4MParted 20.0 disk partitioning Live CD is built around the popular and open-source GParted 0.26.1 graphical partition editor utility, which right now is the best tool for formatting, resizing, splitting, and joining disk partitions of any type. Best of all, users can use the 4MParted Live CD independent of the operating system installed on the target computer where they will attempt to re-partition the disk, similar to the GParted Live CD, but shipping with some more up-to-date GNU/Linux technologies that are present in the upcoming 4MLinux 20.0 release.
