Based on the latest Beta release of the 4MLinux 19.0 GNU/Linux operating system, 4MRecover 19.0 is now ready for public testing and it appears to include the usual TestDisk 7.0 and PhotoRec 7.0 utilities for recovering lost partitions and files from damaged disks and removable drives. 4MRecover is now a GNU/Linux operating system per se, but only a Live ISO image that users can put on a bootable USB flash disk or a CD/DVD disc and use on any machine to recover images and other file types, or undelete disk partitions. As such, 4MRecover works independently of a computer OS.
