“Though Firefox has already managed to give its competitors a
significant run for their money in the short one year of its
existence, parent company Mozilla isn’t wasting any time patting
itself on the back.

“With the new Firefox 1.5, released just yesterday, devotees of
the open-source browser will now have access to drop and drag tab
browsing, browser cache enhancements, faster rendering, a robust
automatic update system, and Canvas: an application for using SVG
(scalable vector graphics) and rendering pixel graphics. ‘We are
improving usability across the board with 1.5,’ says Asa Dotzler,
Mozilla’s quality assurance lead and co-founder of Firefox’s
community-based site SpreadFirefox.com…”
