For those unfamiliar with ICE, it’s a key component of the well-known WebRTC standard. The announcement was made public by Collabora Multimedia Lead Olivier Cr??te, which is also the maintainer of the libnice NAT (Network Address Translation) traversal library used by numerous WebRTC implementations. The latest release of the project, libnice 0.1.14, comes after a year of hard work, during which the development team managed to introduce a great number of improvements, starting with better RFC compliance and continuing with NewReno implementation in PseudoTCP.
