ALT Linux 7.0.5 Arrives with Active Directory Support and Linux Kernel 3.14.41 LTS

Being distributed as Centaurus, KDesktop, Schools Suite (includes School Teacher, School Server, School Master, School Junior), and Simply flavors, the ALT Linux 7.0.5 operating system is powered by Linux kernel 3.14.41 LTS and Mesa 10.0.5 graphics library. The distribution updates all the packages to their latest versions available as of May 22, 2015, updates timezones, adds support for joining Active Directory domains via the System Control Center app, and adds RW (Read/Write) partition support to the Live CDs during UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) boot.
