The AMDGPU-Pro 16.30 graphics driver was initially released with support for the latest Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial Xerus) distribution and brought features like support for newer graphics cards, such as the AMD Radeon RX 480 and the R9 series. However, the driver only works with 64-bit versions of the supported Ubuntu OSes. Release highlights of today’s AMDGPU-PRO 16.30.3-315407 video driver update include support for the AMD Radeon RX 470, AMD Radeon R9 Fury X, AMD Radeon R9 Nano, AMD Radeon R9 390X, 390, 380X, 380, M395X, M385, M380, M270X, 360, 290X, 290, and 285, as well as ???AMD Radeon R7 260X and 260.
