AMD’s 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen Processors Lineup Now Available to Order

Coming one year after the launch of the first generation AMD Ryzen processors, the 2nd generation AMD Ryzen CPUs are here to offer improved performance and advanced features for a faster and smoother computing experience. They are described by AMD as the ultimate desktop processor designed for high-performance computing and gaming. The 2nd generation AMD Ryzen CPU processor lineup of four CPUs, namely AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, AMD Ryzen 7 2700, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, and AMD Ryzen 5 2600. All four require discrete graphics cards and include advanced AMD SenseMI technology. While the AMD Ryzen 7 series boasts 8 cores and 16 threads, the AMD Ryzen 5 series features 6 cores and 12 threads.
