Google already revealed last month the fact that it plans to launch Android 8.0, which could be dubbed “Oreo,” in Q3 2017 to AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and ecosystem, making its way immediately to users of Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL devices first. And now, it looks like the release date of Android 8.0 is not far away, as some well-connected Android reporters, including VentureBeat’s Evan Blass, have reported on Twitter that Google could start rolling out the major Android update to supported devices starting August 21, 2017.
