While US customers can purchase the Essential Phone for as low as $699 USD from the company’s online store and use it on the Sprint mobile network, it now looks like Essential Products is in talks with several British mobile carriers, including EE, to bring the phone to the UK sometime this year, according to Financial Times. Unfortunately, it looks like the Essential Phone is not yet ready to see the light of day, as the June 2017 deadline for shipping the first units is long gone, but we have faith in Andy Rubin and his new company doing a great job in manufacturing a premium mobile experience for all of us.
