According to the new statistics published by Google for its Linux-based mobile operating system, it would appear that Android 7 Nougat adoption is slow this summer as it only grew 2 percent since last month, from 11.5% to 13.5%, with Android 7.0 running on 12.6% devices and Android 7.1 on only 1.2% devices. The fun fact is that Android 6.0 Marshmallow remains king in August 2017, and it grew in the last month to 32.3% from 31.8% in July 2017. On the second place, there’s still Android 5 Lollipop, which appears to have dropped in usage to 29,2% from 30,1% for both 5.0 and 5.1 versions.
