Android Security Update for August 2019 Now Rolling Out with 26 Security Fixes

Available for all of Google’s devices running the latest Android 9 “Pie” mobile operating system, August 2019’s Android Security Patch consists of the 2019-08-01 and 2019-08-05 security patch levels, which fix a total of 26 security vulnerabilities discovered in the Android runtime, Media framework, Android system and framework, as well as Broadcom and Qualcomm components, the most critical of them all affecting the Android system component.
