We believe that ASUS ZenWatch 2 owners are likely drooling to get the Android Wear 2.0 on their smartwatches, and it would appear that ASUS finally kept its promise and is now seeding the major update to these devices, too. Android Wear 2.0 is supported on both ASUS ZenWatch 2 models, including the smaller 45mm version. Android Wear 2.0 is a major software update that comes with lots of cool new features, including Android Pay support, the Google Assistant intelligent personal assistant, support for standalone apps and a standalone Play Store, the long-anticipated material design for the UI, and support for custom watch faces.
