antiX MX is an open source GNU/Linux distro based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system and built around the lightweight Xfce desktop environment. Its development schedule is different than that of the big brother antiX and includes additional software packaged by the MX community. Development of antiX MX 17 is, of course, based on antiX 17 “Heather Heyer,” which was released two weeks ago, on October 24, 2017, and the first beta milestone is now available for public testing, incorporating all the latest upstream updates from the software repositories of Debian GNU/Linux 9 “Stretch.”
