But don’t get to excited, because Audacious 3.8.1 is a small point release that fixes a handful of issues and annoyances reported by users since Audacious 3.8, such as random freezes while playing audio tracks or the duplication of the ‘Do not load metadata for songs until played’ option in the Preferences dialog of the Qt interface. There’s also a fix for a problem with the current time value, which could have become larger than the track length when attempting to drag the progress bar beyond the end of the trough. However, it looks like Audacious 3.8.1 adds support for Opus cover art in the info bar and an Arabic language translation. You can read the release notes for additional details on the bug fixes.
