AV Linux 2018.6.25 is the latest version of the GNU/Linux distribution, shipping with various performance improvements for systems with recent AMD Radeon graphics cards and UEFI machines. UEFI support was introduced back in April 2018 with the AV Linux 2018.4.12 release, but it also brought slow booting, which were addressed in this release. The AV Linux 2018.6.25 release is powered by the Linux 4.16 kernel, which features full RT Preempt and support for newer AMD Radeon GPUs. This release also adds LV2 Audio Plugins to the Cinelerra 5.1 video editing software, updates the LSP Plugins to version 1.1.2, as well as the AV Linux User Manual with relevant information.
