Black Lab Enterprise Desktop 6 SR4 is the fourth maintenance release of the Black Lab Enterprise Desktop 6.0 operating system, a long-term supported version for enterprise customers, which receives software updates, as well as the latest security patches until year 2020. Powered by Linux kernel 3.16.0-38, and based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) operating system, Black Lab Enterprise Desktop 6 SR4 uses the KDE 4.14.2 and MATE 1.8.2 desktop environments, the latest being comparable with the user interface of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
