Consultants. We were approached by people wanting some big-time
Linux systems…
A Microsoft guy came wandering by our booth, looked at the
Mandelbrots running in real time… and shook his head. “What’s
this?” he asked, “All these windows and graphics and everything.
When they said Linux was a Unix clone, I came in here expecting to
see a bunch of dumb terminals.”
