We had the pleasure of reporting the other day about the availability of the Linux 4.6.4 kernel for all GNU/Linux operating systems, and the Budgie 10.2.6 desktop environment for Solus, Fedora 22/23, and openSUSE Leap/Tumbleweed distros. While it’s too early for many GNU/Linux distribution to update to Linux kernel 4.6.4, which is now the most advanced stable kernel version available, Arne Exton informed us earlier about the availability of a custom compiler Linux 4.6.4 kernel package for 64-bit Slackware-based OSes, including Zenwalk, Slax, and SlackEX.
