Calibre 2.49 eBook Manager Software Arrives in 2016 with New Kobo Driver, Qt 5.5.1

Among the new features implemented in Calibre 2.49, we can notice support for Qt 5.5.1 GUI toolkit for the Linux build for the software, support for the new Kobo driver firmware 3.19.5761, as well as a new option in the E-book Viewer component that lets users view only a single book at a time. Calibre 2.49 also ships with many bugfixes and updated news sources.
