Developer Kovid Goyal today announced a new version, Calibre 3.3, which adds a few improvements to the user experience and fixes a bunch of bugs. For example, the Quickview panel was updated to allow users to open and close it through a the Layout button in the bottom right corner. In the same manner, the Book Details panel was updated as well to allow users search for books by the author on Amazon just by right-clicking on an author’s name, and the Comments editor dialog now features a new button that lets you easily insert separators like a tag when editing comments.
