Prominent new features of LXD 2.0 include support for block I/O limits, support for network I/O limits, support of optimized container transfers in the Btrfs backend, the ability to use regular expressions as filters for “lxc list” and “lxc image list”, revamped REST API, deprecation of Go 1.5 and previous versions, and a bew “–fast” mode for “lxc list”.
