Canonical Releases New Linux Kernel for Ubuntu 13.04

Canonical announced a few minutes ago, December 3, that an update for the Linux kernel package in its Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) operating system is available for upgrade, fixing three security vulnerabilities discovered in the upstream Linux kernel packages by various developers. The security flaws can be fixed if you upgrade your system(s) to the linux-image-3.8.0-34-generic (3.8.0-34.49) package(s). To apply the update, run the Update Manager application.
