Today’s update represents the third major release of the CentOS Linux 7 series of GNU/Linux distributions, which renews the base system on the recently released Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 operating system. Additionally, today’s release of CentOS Linux 7, build 1511, includes all the security patches and software updates that have been pushed to the official repositories of the distribution during the month of November and December 2015.
