Probably the most important new feature of Chakra GNU/Linux 2015.11 is the addition of the KDE Plasma 5 as default desktop environment, replacing the old KDE 4 Plasma Workspaces interface that was used until today. Of course, this also means that all the latest KDE technologies have been implemented as well, including KDE Plasma 5.4.2, KDE Applications 15.08.2, KDE Frameworks 5.15.0, Qt 5.5.1, as well as Calligra 2.9.8.
